Biography

UK born soul singer and entertainer David Largie is a performer with many years of experience as an exponent of true soul both in the UK and Europe. He also pays tribute to the enigmatic ‘Love Machine’ himself Mr Barry White. The smooth, velvety baritone voice is synonymous with the swagger and style of the 70’s soul scene making it the perfect offering to any party night or celebration.
David Largie is a self-confessed ‘Party Starter’ as he brings the energy and enjoyment of his music together and provides a real feel good factor to audiences of all ages, supported by his ‘Live� ... � band.
David has won several awards including ‘Artist of the Year’ from Midland Counties and the UK’s ‘Search for a Star 2008,’ but his latest accolade was for his highly acclaimed winning performance as Barry White at the UK National Tribute Music Awards 2018

Previous Clients

The Tribute to Barry White Show was invited to headline the annual Fete Du Coq in Cogolin, deep in the South of France near St Tropez. The festival features music and entertainment from top European artists and we were delighted to perform.
French crowd
With a packed audience of over 1500, The Tribute to Barry White Show was a huge hit. The show opened with an extended version of Love's Theme with our 10 piece band which allowed David and guest singer Sugah to make their entrance through the crowd handing out roses to some of the ladies. And then hearts melted when we performed 'Just the w ... ay you are' - a sensational version which allowed The Tribute to Barry White Show to really set the tone for the night! The audience were taken on an upbeat journey through classics which they all knew and it was a real honour to play for such huge Barry White fans.
The line up for this performance: Bass, drums, guitar, 2 x keyboards, 3 x brass, the incredible Sugah and, of course, David. The sound and lighting crews in Cogolin provided amazing rigs for the night and, as with all of the live shows, it was a visual treat. Read More
