Biography

U.K born Singer David Largie is an artist too diverse to be put into any one category, he has a dynamic, yet friendly approach, confidently delivering his own unique interpretation of popular Reggae and Soul songs by renowned artists such as Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Bob Marley, UB40, Al Green, The Temptations and Lionel Richie, to name but a few. Dave uses his voice to create a variety of vocal sounds or textures, which makes any song that he sings unique to him. Incorporating smooth warm vocal tone and raspy gritty sound, his distinctive sound never fails to keep you mesmerised.
Dave has wo ... n numerous awards including midland counties’ ‘Artist of the year’ and Search for a star 2008 in Birmingham. As a seasoned entertainer, Dave is in high demand for Weddings and private functions and regularly performs at Clubs, Hotels and larger venues. Dave has now expanded into Europe providing his vocal talents to Izmir Turkey's Sunshine Band orchestra.

How are you? Hope all is well? Where do I begin? My husband and I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive BIG BIG thank you for our wonderful wedding evening reception. As ever you were fantastic and every one really enjoyed their selves. Every one asked were did we find you? Of course I am very happy to pass on your details and continue to praise you forever. You made our night and I can not thank you enough! Sorry about my husband he did of course get very drunk! But in a nice manner, but sadly he doesn't seem too remember the later part of the night! I of course remember the whole day and night! What a wonderful memory to hold. Thank you again very very much.

This resulted in viewers searching frantically to hear Dave sing after the banker's antics of teasing and building u ... p the anticipation to hear him sing.
