Experience
I started to play drums in 2004. My field of interest was always connected with jazz and funk music as well as different explorations with modern electronic styles. At 2010 I began my career as a sound engineer and dived deep into Moscow underground scene as a drummer. That time I played mostly dub, reggae, drum-n-bass, hip-hop and world music. Same time I began to collaborate in multiple cover bands playing top 100 songs of that times along with famous Russian hits touring all around Russia.
In 2014 I started to teach drumming and general rhythmic theory.
In 2017 I moved to Malaysia where I
... worked at the sound recording studio in Kuala Lumpur as a sound engineer. Also I continued to teaching drums. After reuniting with my Moscow colleagues there together we created an international Russian-African jazz band and started to make a workshops to local students in UITM university about musical theory, expanding practical skills and rhythmical solfeggio based on Indian Konnakkol system.
After my return to Russia at 2019 I worked mostly with cover bands. When the coronavirus pandemic starts I've changed my occupation to carpentry because all the concerts and recordings were cancelled. But still I had some online drumming students. And in the beginning of 2021 the concerts started to appear again which gave me an opportunity to work as a FOH-engineer, stage technician. During this time I've gained some experience in lighting setup and control during the concerts.
Currently I live in Tbilisi, working at the musical studio and ready for the new international inspirational collaborations.
