Description

Our band is the Train Wreck Shipping Company. We’ve been playing regularly in Llano, Fredericksburg, Austin, and Central Texas for several years now, at venues including The Altstadt Brewery, Culture's Grill and Bar, Maggie Mae's, The Lone Star Bar and Grill, and private events.
We typically provide a 5 or 6 piece band, performing a mixture of popular country, rock, funk, r&b, jazz, and soul. We work to tailor our music to appeal to the crowd and the venue on any given occasion. However, we can provide a much larger band including a horn section and multiple part vocal harmonies to put ... on a larger show, or a much smaller group, such as a trio or duo, for smaller, intimate rooms or occasions.
We have a large roster of personnel and available instrumentation (listed below), with multiple individuals prepared to cover any particular role within the band. This allows us a great deal of flexibility in providing a band configuration suitable for just about any occasion, even on short notice: casual, fun and energetic listening for dancing, parties, drinking and dining – while keeping our volume under control; low volume background music for intimate events or small rooms; or providing large, high-energy bands for outdoor venues at higher volumes. We can cover a wide array of musical genres, including country dance bands, rock, funk, r&b, blues, soul, jazz, western swing, folk, and even smaller classical quartets.
