Biography

‘The Waves’ are a high energy and dynamic Cruise Ship Party Band that bring a lively atmosphere and a range of all music types to any venue they play. Pool deck parties, formal events, late night entertainment, feature theatre shows ‘The Waves’ have the versatility to change style (music and outfits) to suite.

Our Band is made up of five young and passionate musicians from the United Kingdom.
Lucy, our Lead Sing ... er is an experienced front lady with powerful yet emotional vocals. You name the style, she can sing it. Lucy has previously worked eight contracts over the space of six years.
Scott is our Keyboard Player who doubles up as the lead male vocalist. He replicates the songs as close as possible to the original. Audience interaction is key to what Scott brings to the band, he always encourages people to sing and dance. When he isn’t singing lead he adds a diverse range of harmonies/backing vocals to join with Lucy’s singing.
The Drummer in the band is Andrew. He is an excellent sight reader and ensures the groove is true to the original songs. Andrew has done three contracts since 2021 and has recently begun adding backing vocals.
On Guitar is Stefan! He is well recognized around the ship for his frizzy hair, but is long remembered for his screaming guitar solos, mesmerizing melodic fingerpicking and funky riffs! Stefan also adds another layer of backing vocals to the band.
Playing the low notes on Bass and Synth Bass is Sarah, or ‘Ranners’ as she likes to be called! Ranners recently joined the band and has just completed a four and a half month contract with us. She has brought a tasty groove and another level of tightness to the band!
