There is also the option to have Flute instead of 1st Violin in the Quartet or Trio.
We also now offer a male classical wedding ceremony singer (Tenor voice)
All The Quartet players are experienced conservatory trained musicians. We work with established professional player ... s of the highest calibre. We have a vast collection of music to suit all tastes including plenty of modern and classic pop/rock covers. The Quartet can also provide Jewish music arrangements.
The Quartet are one of the few ensembles in Scotland who provide Bollywood soundtracks for Asian Weddings.
We have a wealth of experience in performing for Weddings and Events, so you can be sure that we will help to make your day run smoothly. We have performed at many prestigious venues such as the Gleneagles Hotel, Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Yacht Brittania and many more. As well as providing a high standard of performance we also take pride in our service and attention to detail from the moment you contact us to the day itself.
We are based in Falkirk, Scotland's Central Belt, and are available to play at events all across Scotland including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, Borders & Argyll.

Biography

The director of The Quartet is Morag Swietlicki (violin).
Morag graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama (the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) with a BA in Music Performance and a Postgraduate Certificate in Orchestral Studies. Following this she gained a diploma in Orchestral Studies from the National Centre of Orchestral Studies, London.
Morag has played with many of the British symphony orchestras including the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Morag has also worked with the Orchest ... ra of Scottish Ballet, the Orchestra of Scottish Opera, The Orchestra of Opera North, The Manchester Camerata, The European Opera Centre and The Orchestra of English National Ballet.
Morag has played as part of the orchestra for many international soloists including Jose Carreras, Vanessa May, Tasmin Little, Maxim Vengerov , Paul Tortellier, and Lesley Garrett.
As well as a classical music background Morag has toured with Led Zeppelin and played for the west end show ‘The Phantom of the Opera’. Morag has played for hundreds of weddings and events over the years so you can be sure she will help to make your event a success.
All our players are working professional musicians in Scotland, and as well as performing with The Quartet, have busy schedules performing and teaching around the UK and abroad.
