Biography

“The Entertainers” are Perth's newest and most exciting Contemporary Duo comprising of Pianist/Vocalist/Composer: Ric Stern, and Vocalist/Lyricist: Paulina Caine. Ric has entertained for Royalty and Dignitaries from every corner of the globe. He is an International Recording Artist with a list of credits including, but not limited to: Engagements at the Playboy Clubs of America, the world's largest cruise ships operated by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Residencies at Perth's own 5 Star Hotels, 4 Command Performances for the former President of Taiwan, and tw ... o concerts for the former Governor-General of Western Australia, His Excellency: Dr Ken Michael. Paulina Caine has performed with many original bands in Perth and is best known for being the lead singer of the electronic duo Basic Desire. As an electronic artist, Paulina has numerous radio and television appearances under her belt, including Channel 7, ABC, SBS and TVP Polonia. She's performed at festivals, including, but not limited to: Christmas Concerts in Darling Harbour, Perth Festival, Sydney Festival, Kosciuszko Festival and the National Multicultural Festival in Canberra. She has also toured, as a support, for overseas acts, such as BoneyM. Over the years her voice has been compared with both - the sweet sound of Julee Cruise, and the dynamic range of Sara Brightman.
