Description

I have been performing as Elton John since 2010. The act features me, Mark Stewart, as Elton, in full Elton-inspired sparkly costume, on live vocal and stage piano. Available as solo act or with band (Jon on bass, Perry on drums, James on electric guitar, all doing backing vocals).
We can perform over 2 hours of Elton's greatest hits, plus some other floor-filling favourites from similar genres. We also have a few Christmas songs which we can thrown in for gigs in December.
We have own PA system and lighting rig.
Our act is full of energy and fun, with light comic banter to link the song ... s. We are happy to tailor our act to your requirements and to take requests.

Biography

We have performed in a wide variety of venues, including many pubs across the Southwest and beyond, social clubs and small outdoor local festivals. We have also performed for a number of private parties, including in church buildings. As a solo act, Mark has provided regular afternoon entertainment in several nursing homes.

Experience

As well as performing as Elton John, Mark also performs as musical-comedy drag act Marcia D'Arc, and in 2018 made his debut at the Edinburgh Fringe festival with this act.
The other band members have a great deal of experience performing across a variety of genres, including rock, ska, blues, gospel, jazz and funk.
