Biography

Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music with Honours, Shèna has been lucky enough to enjoy an incredibly successful career in all areas of the Music Industry.
As a backing vocalist she has worked with great artists such as Lisa Stansfield, Luther Vandross, Mica Paris, Chaka Khan, James Brown, Amy Winehouse , Heather Small, Josh Stone, Michael Gray, Alex Gaudino, Charlotte Church, The Sugar Babes, Girls Aloud, Mariah Carey, Leslie Garett, Alicia Dixon and Michael Ball to name but a few. As a solo artist she has over 150 commercial releases to her credit, which include the monster ... dance hits The Weekend, Dare Me, Guilty and Watch out, as well as Electrosexual which was heavily featured on the Hollywood Blockbuster movie The girl with the dragon tattoo, starring Daniel Craig. Thanks to her continuous flow of dance hits, Shèna is regularly invited to Russia, Europe and all over the globe to perform in clubs, bars, restaurants and larger venues. Shèna can even go so far as to call Russia her second home.
Shèna has also had a successful career in the West End, which include performing in the touring production of Carmen Jones, understudy to the lead in Mama I want to sing, one of the Soul girls in Jesus Christ Superstar, and she took over the lead role from Irene Cara in What a feeling.
Finally Shèna is a published songwriter published by the company 23rd Precinct which is sub-published by Nottinghill Music Group. Shèna has recently got one of her tracks played on the Radio 1 playlist, called One in a Million by Drumsound and Bassline Smith featuring Fleur. As a result of her track record, Shèna is regularly asked to collaborate with other successful DJs and is a mentor to young artists like Blaise.
