Description
I love to bounce around on instruments if they are available to me, but my strongest suit is singing. Be prepared to be crooned by some jazz tunes, rock out with grunge, get happy with psychadelic rock, get soulful, feel the beat and the bass through my ryhmes as well. A SueVee show is always a surprise with no disappointments!

Biography
Multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and writer SueVee is at the top of her game with no signs of slowing. This bluesy Boston native grew up to the crooning sounds of Ella Fitzgerald, Lady Day, The Beatles, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Leadbelly, The Commodores (just to name a few), all of which are heavily reflected in her art.
At the tender age of five SueVee started singing at her church in the children’s gospel choir, and throughout her adolescence she sang in the National Center of Afro-American Artists’ production of Black Nativity. She was also a member of her sch
... ool chorus, concert choir, girls’ glee, and madrigals including singing the National Anthem for numerous school basketball and hockey games, the DCL All-Star Shoot-Out tournament, and for Red Sox and Celtic’s games.
Having musical background in violin and piano as a child, SueVee picked up the guitar at the age of 23 and taught herself to play and write songs, and in the same year moved to Los Angeles to pursue her musical goals and deepen her journey to self-discovery.
In continuing her musical exploration, at the age of 24 she picked up the drums, bass guitar, and reintroduced herself to the keys. In 2013, SueVee joined forces with renowned Los Angeles Producer & Keyboardist for KC and the Sunshine Band, Robert E. Lee to bring to life the Vintage Soul Project. The project being an unapologetic love letter to Motown with the majority of songs written by SueVee herself.
During her time in Southern California she also played in experimental rock bands Elixir No. 6 and The Serotonin Experiment of San Diego, as well as many solo gigs. SueVee has performed all over the country including residencies in Los Angeles at the House of Blues and The Smoke House. She has performed at music festivals such as Serenity Gathering in California and Mile of Music in Wisconsin. Her Boston gigs have included Alibi in the Liberty Hotel, Sam Adams Brewery, Lizard Lounge, Burren Bar, and Boston Pride Festival.
Experience
I have been a professional performer for 6 years, starting in Los Angeles. There I did gigs at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip, Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, and The Smoke House in Burbank. In San Diego I performed at various bars and gatherings. My Boston experience includes Boston Pride festival, Alibi at the Liberty Hotel, and the Lizard Lounge. I have worked with renowned producer and KC & The Sunshine Band pianist, Robert E. Lee and released an EP with his project the Vintage Soul Project.
