Steffi Russell is an extremely versatile and enjoyable performer. With more than 20 years experience in the field of singing, and 10 years of opera training behind her, she can chop and change between styles as the mood takes. Whether it is singing an acapella folk song for your wedding, getting people up on the dancefloor with 1950s swing classics or simply singing chilled background jazz music, her aim is always to make sure the crowd goes away happy.

Biography

Steffi began her training as a musicals singer at the Arts Educational School in Tring Park, Hertfordshire at the age of 11. After completing her studies there, she went on to sing lead roles in London as Ronette in Little Shop of Horros and Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro whilst at College, before deciding upon working on her voice more classically and moving to Salzburg, Austria to pursue her studies in the field of Opera. 10 years on and with vast experience singing with some of the largest names in the operatic scene and years of travelling in pursuit of her art under her belt, Steffi's ... roots began calling her and, two years ago she returned to her old home of Salzburg and began singing Swing/Musicals and Pop again. She is the lead singer in a few local big bands and is frequently asked to guest with numerous others, regardless of their style.
