Description

We provide a fully self contained package of 'Live' entertainment, and as a Duo, we use the highest quality customised digital backing tracks as part of our performances. Our repertoire is fairly wide ranging and can be adapted to suit event requirements, but is mainly focussed in the Soft Rock, Classic Rock & Pop and upbeat party and dance floor favourites genre, mainly from the 70's, 80's and 90's, but we also cover well known favourites from the period before and after these decades! In addition, we can also provide DJ music mixes during arrival, band breaks and end of function cool down.

We can also perform a laid back set if required, ideal for mood music during dinner or for early arrival cocktails.
As part of our full package, we have a magnificent sound system from DB Technologies and a super 5.5 metre goalpost Tri-Truss system, that carry's a lovely lighting rig suitable for any occasion, and guaranteed to attract dancers to the dance floor!

Biography

We are 'SMILEY BLUE' a two piece dynamic Pop/Rock Duo featuring Lead Vocalist Jenny Molina and Lead Guitarist/Vocalist Trev Varri.
We have both been successful solo performers with many years of experience, and teamed up in 2011, to perform at a number of very high class overseas venues, to perform our brand of fantastic Classic Pop, Rock & upbeat party hits.
Jenny is an attractive, versatile and very talented singer, with a lovely personality and an endearing and fun stage presence, she also has a vocal range that allows her to deliver terrific versions of songs from a wide range of ... singing stars, that has ensured her talents are always in demand.
Trev is a Lead Guitarist/Lead Vocalist, with a smooth, dynamic, blues influenced playing style, and a powerful and distinctive singing voice. He has accrued a wealth of experience in the music business, over many years, taking in support tours with several world class bands, including: Thin Lizzy, ACDC and Dr Feelgood, as well as, studio album sessions with other well known recording artists, he also formed the successful and highly regarded 'Mirage International Showband' in the UK, completing many major summer seasons for Butlins and Haven Holidays, as well as many cruises and club tours. Trev has a zany sense of humour and is a mischievous on stage performer who quickly and easily connects with any audience.
Overall, an evening with 'SMILEY BLUE' is sure to be filled with fun and fine music, from past hits to current hits, but always something for everyone no matter how old. 'SMILEY BLUE' are completely self contained, thoroughly professional and come with a superb professional light and sound rig.

Another dynamic musical performance from Smiley Blue, entertaining us with rock, pop and power ballads throughout the night. Stunning lead vocals from the amazing Jen, and incredible finger work from the highly talented and energetic lead guitarist Trev. We didn’t want the evening to end - looking forward to their next performance now.

Experience

After forming 'Smiley Blue', we went on to successfully complete contracts at several major 5 star Hotels and Clubs in Dubai, as well as performances at some major International events. We were also asked to perform for 7 consecutive New Year’s Eve members parties, at the prestigious Emirates Golf Club, Dubai, and 5 years for the Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Dubai, at their annual ‘Members’ Awards Dinner dance’.
We also enjoyed playing at Abu Dhabi Golf Club, on all four days during the HSBC Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, entertaining the crowds on the clubhouse terrace, after play, and a ... t the Omega Dubai Desert Classic Pro-Am presentation dinner, as well as for some other similarly high class venues and VIP engagements for several Ambassadors and Consulates.
On returning to the UK we currently continue to enjoy great success performing at Clubs, Private Functions and Events.
