Description

I provide up to 3 hours worth of songs (with short breaks). Typically I perform by myself with a guitar with mic and speakers where required. I play a mixture of original songs and acoustic covers. My sound is very relaxed so I am perfect as main event entertainment for folk festivals or other low key events and I make great live music for chilled out bars/cafes. I do play more up-beat and funky numbers too and my set/play style and genre can be adapted to suit a variety of audiences. I generally put a lot of effort into building a positive relationship with my audience which is why my more i ... ntimate gigs go so well but I am very diverse, so a crowd of any size is no problem for me. Since moving to London I’ve also formed an epic rock band and chilled acoustic duo which are also available for hire!

Biography

I am 26 years old, a songwriting graduate, and I've been playing music, singing and entertaining for most of my life. Recently I finished recording my first solo album whilst travelling around New Zealand and I am now heading to London to further my career!

Sean has been a regular performer for us at the Vic Brew Bar in Nelson. He played for us outside several Saturday or Sunday afternoons to bring business to our door and it went so well we had to have him back all throughout summer. He also took part and helped run our open mic event every Monday Night which was a great success.

Experience

I have 16 years of experience performing on stage as a singer so I'm not stranger live performance and I have played for very diverse audiences over the years - anything from a capella performance in an African church to rock concerts! I have just finished recording my first solo album and I spent the last 1.5 years writing/performing my own songs around New Zealand - most recently I have been playing various professional gigs for Bars/Cafes and also as main stage entertainment for a music festival! I have a lot of experience entertaining and interacting with elderly in nursing homes/hospitals ... and I've also run highly rewarding workshops with music/drums for young children
