Roger Davy is a familiar face both internationally and locally, not only for his unique Pavarotti ™tribute shows but also for being one of the original voices behind Australia’s well-loved export ‘The Ten Tenors’. Starting his impressive career as a boy soprano he also studied at the Victorian College of the Arts and Queensland University. As a young Artist with Opera Queensland he performed the role of Ruiz in ll Trovotore, and later under contract with Opera Australia performed several roles including Steva (Jenufa) and Gabriele Ardorno (Simon Boccanegra) …During this time he was a
... finalist in the prestigious Royal Covent Garden Scholarship which enabled him to study and perform other major operatic roles in Germany
and the UK.Upon returning to Australia, Roger co-founded “The Ten Tenors” and performed with them for three years. After leaving the Ten Tenors, Roger formed his own production/entertainment company Vavachi Entertainment
Roger has established himself as one of Asia’s highly sought after classical corporate performers and this has seen him perform for 5 consecutive years at the Singapore F1 Grand Prix. A resident six-month performer at the Venetian
Casino Macau/China., Roger recently returned to China, for a six-week contract touring in a concert production of Aida with Australian International Productions. Career highlights have been performing for Olivia Newton John and partners at
the exclusive GAIA Retreat and Spa (NSW) singing at Landaa Giraavaru Four Seasons Resort in the beautiful Maldives, working alongside international soprano Louise Kennedy as a featured artist in “Puccini and Fettuccini” and his involvement in local community theatre productions. Adam Barlett, first appeared on stage at the Brisbane Arts Theatre at age 6 in The Little Hero of Holland.He decided to pursue performing as a career at Beenleigh High School where he played lead roles in many of the school’s annual musicals culminating in playing Jesus in Godspell.After High School he played Bobby in his first professional show The Boyfriend and worked at World Expo 88 as a street performer.He completed a 3 year Diploma of Art in Acting in 1991 at the Victorian College of Arts in Melbourne.He moved to Sydney and was cast in the ensemble of the John Frost production of South Pacific which toured Australia for a year. He was also understudy to the role of Lieutenant Cable and played the role many times.
He moved to the UK after the show to pursue theatre work in London and appeared in the pantomime Dick Whittington alongside Birds of a Feather star Lesley Joseph. Returning to Australia he auditioned for producer Simon Gallagher and was cast in his productions of The Merry Widow and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum alongside Jon English which toured Australia and New Zealand. He played Hortensio in Kiss Me Kate in a concert version for the Brisbane Festival in 1998.His last show at Brisbane Arts Theatre was playing Bobby in Company in 1997.For Beenleigh Theatre Group Adam played the lead role of Dexter in High Society in 2009 and the role of The Beast in Beauty and the Beast in 2015.
Adam has also played many roles for the Phoenix Ensemble including Freddie in Chess , Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, George in La Cage Aux Folle and won a Gold Coast Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actor in the musical The Full Monty . In 2016 he played Dan in Next to Normal and was again nominated for a Gold Coast Theatre Award. Adam played Jean Valjean in Les Miserable for The Spotlight Theatre Company on the Gold Coast in 2017. He is a performing member of Footlights Theatrical and will star in the Love Letters of Noel Coward later this year.This is the second time Adam has played Dan in Next to Normal .
