I am exceptionally skilled in playing many different genres including contemporary, soul, jazz, rnb, rock, latin and more.
I am both a highly capable soloist and an accompanist, depending on what the band requires.
Reading charts are not a problem. I am quite happy and competent to be given charts and play them.
I am extremely comfortable performing both on acoustic and electric guitar.

Short Bio (100 words)
Melbourne bred and now Perth based, Ridge has spent the last 6 years at Australian Institute of Music (Melbourne) and WAAPA studying and playing in a plethora of musical genres including Jazz, contemporary, Rnb, Soul, Funk, Latin, Indian, African and many more.
He has since graduated from his degree with a sold out recital performance at The Ellington Jazz Club.
When he isn’t swinging hard, Ridge is embracing his passion to explore the different dialects that the language of music beholds; whether it is playing as part of an Indian Classical orchestra, recordin ... g guitar for music artists, reading charts as part of the orchestra in a musical, writing and releasing his original music, live scoring acting performances or combining live performance and Video, Ridge’s passion for music continues to lead him to push creative boundaries.
His previous achievements include playing at the Australian Open, winning the 2009 Studio 52 Best blues and roots track, performing at Etihad Stadium, recording is own original songs and performing at many prestigious venues in Perth and Melbourne such as His Majesty’s Theatre.
Ridge continues to perform around the Perth scene with various original artists, Metro Big band, his own Jazz Trio and various other bands.

Hi!
My name is Ridge. I am 29 and absolute love playing guitar and being a musician.
I do a lot of gigs around Perth with original artists, cover bands and jazz bands.
I got started playing acoustic duo tunes in Melbourne regularly gigging at Crown Casino. Since then I've moved to Perth to complete my degree in Jazz Guitar. I absolutely loved music and being thrown in a variety of different musical situations, whether it be musicals, jazz duos/trios, big bands, world music or even VJing.
Being able to play music and entertain is what makes me most happy!
