Multi music award winning British Soul and Motown Singer/Songwriter Richie Sampson from Leicestershire UK , rounded off 2017 with the release of a new Northern Soul album ‘Tears at the end of a love affair’.
2017 has been a very successful year for Richie both as a Songwriter and a performer. He signed a new record deal with legendary Northern Soul producers Ian Levine and Russ Winstanley. Their success with acts such as ‘Take That’ and ‘Culture club’ is well documented and they are known as the modernisers of Northern Soul Music worldwide.To date they sold over millions of recor ... ds.
Richie Sampson has toured with legendary artist such as ‘The Three Degrees , ‘Heatwave , ‘The Real Thing’ and George McCrae.
He has performed alongside former long standing members of The Drifters and was lead vocalist for The Foundations with founder member Alan Warner..
Richie has a strong but smooth soulful voice and is also a great performer relighting the magic of that splendid Soul and Motown era, breathing new life into those magical songs we love and adore.
He has performed for Celebrities such as Sir Alex Ferguson, David Beckham, Tom Cruise and Sir Trevor McDonald to name a few over the years and has a vast experience in headlining Theatres, luxury Cruises and Cooperate events.
Looking towards the year ahead Richie is currently in the process of mixing and mastering a new solo album, which he hopes to release in the new year.
