The 'Purple Supper Band' are the North East's premier wedding and function band providing live wedding entertainment at its very best. We are proud to have been recently rated Number 1 by 'Brides' Magazine as the best wedding covers band for the North East of England. We are proud to be appearing at Close House, one of the North East's most prestigious venues, with the full line up including two piece brass section, having been booked for Christmas party nights throughout November and December 2013. Last year we were ... selected to perform Xmas party nights at NUFC, after performing a showcase at the club with 6 other top quality bands from around the UK.
Our versatility enables us to perform perfectly crafted arrangements of popular music covering all genres, from Rock 'n' Roll to modern Pop, Soul to Disco, and pretty much everything inbetween. Band leader Paul has worked as a music educator for twelve years since graduating from university, and is currently working as head of music education in a local college.
