Online drum lessons

I am currently in the process setting up an online drum teaching business and am looking for new students. I have achieved both Rockschool grade 8 practical and ABRSM grade 5 music theory. I will help the student develop on what they have learnt themselves, focusing on becoming an all-rounded flexible drummer, teaching them important techniques such as sight-reading and drum rudiments and helping them to develop their own practice regime, which will enable them to progress as quickly as they desire. I will tailor the lessons to benefit the student to the best of my ability.
I have plenty of experience with children of ages 5-15, having lead percussion workshops at the holiday club my home church runs each July, and pre- university, I used to regularly run hockey coaching for the local middle school (students aged between 9 and 14) as part of my Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. Another part of my DofE was a residential, where I fundraised a mission trip to Zambia through a sponsored half marathon. On this trip I lead workshops with young adults, pastors and youth group leaders, visited and cared for vulnerable adults, and attended a local orphanage. I did have a DBS done for this but as it was for Tearfund, it is non- transferrable. I am in the process of sorting one out for when I get teaching on a one to one basis.

I am currently charging £20 an hour, or £15 for half an hour, with the first lesson FREE, so there's no risk in getting a lesson booked! I also do discounts for block bookings so please get in touch if you are interested at: oliwatto@gmail.com.
