Meet the Act
I started my music journey in 2012, when I had just been admitted to study for a Performer's Diploma in Music at the South African College of Music in UCT. Being an ordinary girl from the township (who has never been exposed to city life) I was excited to be in a space that was so musically inspiring. The College of music had students from different walks of life. I think my biggest excitement was to network and share music ideas on a larger and more culturally diverse perspective.
Up till date, I still live up to these standards, because music for me, knows no boundaries. I have been hon
... oured to share songs and featured in music projects of different genres and styles. And more often people think I'm crazy when they listen to my playlist. "How did you learn to sing in this kind of language"? Why do you listen to this kind of music? The list of questions goes on and on.
My social life isn't different either. I fit in anywhere where there's a good atmosphere or a good vibe, so to speak.
Easily approachable, I am an open book. What you see is what you get. No surprises. Just don't bombard me with sarcasm, and expect me to take it all in with a pinch of salt. Joking 😂
Be rest assured though that my sense of humour will make an audience giggle from time to time.
