Norberto Di Bella - Drummer - MEXICO, Mexico Event Location: Recording Studio Event Type: Session Recording -South America 11th November 2022

After working on the piece for MIDI production, with the use in this version of virtual instrument libraries, I decided to go to the studio to record the exquisite drummer Norberto Di Bella, who, reading and nuanced the entire work, gave it the human touch that he was missing. Amazing work! Thanks!

I was planning my new tour 2011-2013 and needed a new drummer. My manager gave me a list of musicians, about eleven people. I personally verified the work of each one and that was when I decided to hire an Argentine drummer, with extensive experience in recording sessions and tours. His name was Norberto Di Bella, an intense person with a lot of professionalism. We went on an extensive and successful tour. In 2016 I hired him for the second time and his performance was very professional and incredible. In 2024, which begins, I will hire him again for my new tour. Honestly, their work and musical contribution is amazing. He is a musician who gives his all at every concert. I am very grateful to have met him.

I have worked as a director, arranger and pianist for almost 8 years with drummer Norberto Di Bella. During that time we made recordings and more than 1000 concerts around the world. His musical feeling, attitude, personality, versatility and musical judgment is something that always surprised me. Di Bella is an excellent drummer and percussionist who has the ability to hear everything.

Norberto Di Bella is an Argentine professional musician & educator
Throughout his career he has worked in a wide range of musical contexts, playing more than 8000 concerts, participating in 380 records and teaching hundreds of students. At an early age he began his musical studies with the great maestros Rolando Oso Picardi and later with José Pepe Correale. He continued his studies at UNA (Universidad Nacional de las Artes) / Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina, obtaining a degree in Musical Arts. Di Bella is a session musician & educator with 45 years of experience. Currently (2024 ... ) he works as session musician and educator at Percussion Coach Institute. Performs live presentations integrating Barrio de Tango Quintet (Argentina / Mexico), Jazz Voyage Band (Mexico), Opposite x El Vértice Orchestra (Argentina), DHits Band (Spain).
