Biography
Nicky trained at Guildford School of Acting . She made her professional debut as Dolly in Valentine’s Day directed by Gillian Lynne (Globe Theatre, London) followed by two seasons at Birmingham Rep playing various roles including Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. After this she secured the role of Cosette in Les Misérables (Palace Theatre, London) before appearing as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera (both at Edinburgh Playhouse and Her Majesty’s Theatre, London). She returned to Birmingham Rep to play Pascal in The Red Balloon before transferring with the production to the Olivier a

Other theatre includes: Rizzo in Grease (National Tour); Yum-Yum in The Mikado (Regent Theatre, Stoke-on-Trent); Dandini in Cinderella (Derby Playhouse); Ellen in Miss Saigon (first National Tour); the alternate Marion Halcombe in The Woman in White with Michael Crawford (Palace Theatre, London); Alternate Donna in Mamma Mia! (International Tour); Dick in Dick Whittington (Theatre Royal, Norwich); Madame Giry in The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s, London); Fantine in Les Misérables (The Point Theatre, Dublin) and the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella alongside Shane Richie and The Chuckle Brothers (New Theatre, Hull and Cliffs Pavilion, Southend).
Television includes Eastenders (BBC); Doctors (BBC) and London’s Burning (ITV) as well as numerous commercials. On film she can be seen as Mum in Barry and Gina in Press Your Lips Together.
Her extensive concert appearances include an Abba Tribute (Warwick Castle); Night of 100 Stars (London Palladium); Abbey Road 80th Anniversary (Chiswick House); The Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary Concert (Royal Albert Hall); Miss Saigon 25th Anniversary Concert (The Prince Edward Theatre, London) and has also performed as a backing singer with Barry Manilow.
