My name is Mark and I have been a Dj for over 40 years and have always been highly recommended. My experience covers all aspects of DJing including weddings, parties, corporate functions, Masonic lodges, anniversaries, retirement parties, extensive nightclub experience (1978 - 1990 ), awards and presentation nights... even fashion shows!
I moved to Norfolk from the South coast around 15 years ago and have become well established and regularly booked in Norwich and the North Norfolk area.
Most of my discos, I am pleased to say, have been booked through personal recommendation.
As a Dj I am v ... ery friendly, relaxed and entertaining with extensive knowledge of all popular musical genres and their eras.
My equipment consists of a premium quality sound system with coordinated "intelligent" lighting. I also use a professional up-lit Dj booth making for a very smart presentation. No tacky plastic screens, twinkly cloth or unsightly gantries!
Like all Discos these days I have every kind of music available to play but more importantly, unlike many, I am experienced and skilful at choosing the RIGHT music to play at any particular event and always play your requests PROMPTLY!
You may want a genre-specific night of just Classic Rock, or Motown / Northern Soul, or Funk / Disco, or music from a specific Decade. I can provide pretty much whatever you need.
If I think I may struggle with your particular requirements, I will always be honest and say so.
Advance music requests are always welcome, up to a maximum of 20 specific songs to allow for spontaneity on the night. Your guidance on musical genres or eras is also welcome, together with any music you want me to avoid, and I always actively encourage requests from everyone on the night.
The only thing I won't do is stick to a large pre-arranged playlist as I have found these invariably don't work and it's better to allow the party to develop organically on the night, allowing me to use my skills as a Dj to play requests whilst carefully managing the dynamics of the dance floor.
