Description

I am a music producer with vast experience in various genre's, a seasoned pianist and music director. I have directed and played with multiple bands from African bands to jazz bands and even rock bands. I am very flexible with my live sets, I can play with a live band, a dj or simply go the acoustic route.

Biography

Mercedes Mahlatse Boshego commonly known as Mr. Mercedes is a music producer/ pianist from Pretoria, born and bred in Gauteng, South Africa. What started out as a young kids fascination with sounds and a keyboard led to him being a world renowned producer and pianist, playing with the likes of Kelly Khumalo, Silly Bean, Dj Fortee and many more. After teaching himself how to play the piano, he decided to dive deeper into music production. At age 14 he worked with the late DJ Killah who introduced him into the industry. He then went and studied music production at Emendy College, and then ... studied further in Cape Town at SAE Institute. While he was studying, he got the opportunity to help mix and master Tahnee McKay's first album. He later joined a Jazz Band called Happy Hour playing live keys and being the music director. His production work led him to co-producing many hits from artists like: Dj Vitoto | Blacklez |REGALO Joints|Lady Zamar | Tika Kotu | Maofe the General | Tahnee McKay |Adrenaline Clique |Haddessa | Arthur Mafokate| Afrolicious Mumma and many more. Mr. Mercedes has had various performances in and out of South Africa including England, Angola, Portugal, Namibia, etc. with a great reputation for his music production and an extraordinary piano playing talent.
