Biography

The Power Duo MIEL DE LUNA is a well established musical group, developed in Ibiza in early 2020. The band consists of singer Luciana Sotriffer and acoustic guitar player Ignacio Barrios.
Both musicians come from strong musical background, providing both; cultural and musical expression, while performing a representative repertoire with works of
soul, blues rock and pop music.
The repertoire starts with songs from the early age of the 1960s covering artists like: Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Michael Jackson and many more to today’s contemporary music with arti ... sts such as Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys, Florence The Machine, Sam Smith between many others.

MEET THE SINGER:
Italian/Brazilian singer Luciana begun her musical career at the early age of 8. Her family, equally passionate about music, introduced her to soul and jazz music.
In 2011 the singer decided to move to the US, to further develop her musical career, and was soon enrolled to study:
vocal performance and music production at MI Musician Institute California. Graduating in 2013
Couple years later, she found herself performing at various venues and hotels in: Las Vegas, Ibiza, Los Angeles, Milan, Oman and many others.
Luciana also worked as a vocal production artist for TV and ... FILM performing new versions of songs by: Aretha Franklin
and Etta James
at: Sony Music Entertainment Studios.
The singer is the winner of the 2014
“INDEPENDENT WOMAN MUSIC AWARD” Los Angeles, CA. (Award for best song) “GOTTA GET OVER YOU SOMEDAY “.
Luciana was also one of the final picks to interpret the song: “ I FEEL LOVE” Remake by producer:
GIORGIO MORODER. Song that was later fully pitched to singer: Sam Smith.
MEET THE GUTAR PLAYER :
Ignacio has been playing guitar for over 10 years.
He has worked arrangements on the album: LA MARMELADA DE ARANDANOS by Nacho Fiolo in Argentina.
Since then he has been part of many bands. He was the main developer of the famous rock band CABURE.
In 2018 he moved to Europe, and was chosen for immediate incorporation as guitar and recording artist for the bands: Natalia Natalia and Snow Chilli.
His performances have reached the audiences of the well known theatre
EL TEATRO PEREIRA in Ibiza the BIG BANG Barcelona, LA TERTULIA Granada, to today’s collaboration with the well established music agency FLYING PIGS performing for THE HILTON HOTEL, ES CUCONS HOTEL, EL TEATRO,
