Lead Singer
My first Love. I was joint creator of the Tangible Fruit Squad and remain their lead singer to date. We enjoyed reasonable success with the release of 3 highly acclaimed self-penned albums and EPs, music press reviews, radio airplay and extensive live experience ranging from playing Pubs to festivals of several thou ... sand in attendance. We performed a number of live radio interviews and sessions and were also invited to play a live acoustic set on The Bob Harris show. We also supported a professional Beatles tribute act as well as Wishbone Ash. Alas, marriage and babies for some members of the band meant the commitment needed could not be maintained. We still play together occasionally and are still the best of friends.

Lead Singer
As the dynamic and energy of the Fruit Squad changed to become more of an occasional covers band, I was successful in my audition to join an established function band, Target, where I remain their lead singer. We offer and energetic party set suited to weddings, corporate functions, and other events. We constantly receive great feedback from our customers and a lot of our work comes from recommendations.

Musical Education: Contestant
I was lucky enough to be successful in my application to appear on ITV’s Stars in their eyes. The show transmitted in April 2004 to a viewing audience of 10.3m. What an incredible experience and an amazing journey. Just WOW!
During the course of 2006-2008 I attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford as an evening school student to learn Advance Vocal Performance. I did this for 3 terms which allowed me to understand the voice better, along with warm up and cool down exercises and other valuable tools to allow me to improve my performance, technique and stamina on stage.

Experience

I have been singing in a semi-pro capacity for over 20 years. I have recorded 2 albums (original material) and an EP. I have played 100's of live gigs ranging from pubs to full production music festivals with over 3000 people in the audience.
I was also lucky enough to be selected to appear on ITV's Stars in their Eyes with Matthew Kelly. Every so cheesy but ever so much fun!
