Having played some of tye UK’s most iconic venues (Cavern Club, 100 Club) and to crowds of over 1,000+ sharing the stage with the likes of Bruce Foxton, Catfish & The Bottlemen, The Beautiful South, The Twang amongst others Available for a range of events either as a full band or guitarist/singer duo. Specialising in an indie rock sound (can incorporate originals if desired) but happy to tailor performance and setlist to clientele. Also provide online advice for aspiring/new performers or just any that would like help with nerves or improving their stage presence/performance.

Biography

Mat Hook is an English singer-songwriter from Sheffield, re-entering the live and recorded music scene after being the frontman of Sheffield indie rock band ‘Kartica’ between 2008-2014. Those days saw sold out gigs, international press and celebrity endorsements, now while still recording and performing original material, he is also available performing well known covers for functions, events and parties

I’ve built up valuable experience of all kinds of gigs and crowds and am happy to pass on any tips and advice for new and potentially nervous performers to help them feel at ease with any propesrive gigs.
