Biography

It's his fresh approach to jazz that will capture your attention. There are artists who play, and then there are artists that speak to your soul. Far more than an entertainer, the signature sounds of Marqué will be your tour guide to an unforgettable experience. Marqué will stir your love for great music with his smooth yet soulful approach to jazz music.
Marqué attended Florida A & M University and became a member of the renowned Marching 100. After two years of college, he left Florida and returned to his hometown. Back in Memphis and committed to pursuing his passion, Marqué joi ... ned a few bands and played at various venues around the city. However, he longed for more. Determined to make his sound significant, he eventually made moves to jumpstart his solo career and form his own band, Quéludes. Products of his ambition are the Soulful Sounds Sax Academy and TrapJazz, a show curated in downtown Memphis.
From 2013 to 2015, Marqué performed with the BB Kings All Star Band aboard the Holland America cruise line, where he toured the European, Caribbean, and Mediterranean Seas. Traveling the world was always a goal and something of which you can never get enough.

From 2013 to 2015, Marqué performed with the BB Kings All Star Band aboard the Holland America cruise line, where he toured the European, Caribbean, and Mediterranean Seas. I've played at several casinos in thee tri-state area, one of which I have a standing NYE show. I've been the entertainment for some of the most beautiful weddings, and I am willing to travel for an additional fee. My band and I host a weekly brunch as one of the most known, upscale restaurants in Memphis, TN. I've also curated several events in the Memphis area.
