I am a recent graduate from RWCMD (jazz) and have years of experience playing at weddings, festivals and in venues in a multitude of different genres on both flute and sax.

Available for events UK and international from January 2024 (up to 4 months contracts). I am able to sight read and improvise.
Biography
Maddie Penfold is an accomplished Saxophone and Flute player having recently graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a degree in Jazz. She is now a full time musician hoping to continue to work and play across the country and abroad. Maddie plays at a number of different events and venues including at Weddings, in Jazz clubs and on Festival stages. She has supported Scouting for girls and Peter Andre at Cardiffs Food Festival over the last couple of years with The Session Band.
Experience
I have experience playing both across the UK and abroad with wedding bands, as a solo artist and depping for other musicians. I am reliable and able to drive. I have experience playing in a variety of different line ups from Big Bands to trios. I have played as part of many wedding function bands over the last few years and have taken a multitude of private bookings as a solo sac player for parties and weddings across the Uk. I also have experience sight reading and improvising in bands such as Strictly UB40 and Capital City Jazz Orchestra. I have played on both large festival stages and in in ... timate jazz bars.
