Loren recognises that leading vocal and performance training often occurs in major cities that may not be accessible day to day based on your location. We know this because Loren moved to London back in 2011 to complete her BA Hons Degree in Vocals (Popular Music Performance & Creative Musicianship) at the renowned music school, BIMM London. However, she was always driven by her passion to make this valuable and inspiring education available and accessible, wherever you are in the world. The world is thriving with musical talent, and Loren's here to nurture it at the earliest opportunity!

Wether your style is pop, rock, jazz or musical theatre, there's not many genre's that Loren hasn't covered with her students over the last 10 years online and from her studio, The Song Loft in Staffordshire. She teaches absolute beginners up to seasoned professionals of all ages and abilities, so wether you're trying out singing for the first time, or you're prepping for a big show or audition, Loren is here to craft your lesson and tailor it to your individual goals and age group.

So, what does an online lesson entail?

VOCAL TECHNIQUES
Enhance your vocal expertise through mastering techniques like breath control, resonance, articulation, and vocal range expansion. These methods refine your singing quality and versatility, elevating your vocal ability to new heights!
VOCAL EXCERCISES
Learn to warm-up through vocal exercises designed to prepare the voice for singing. Stretches, breathing exercises, and vocal drills improve flexibility, clarity, strength, precision and endurance while improving your overhall vocal health!
PITCH TRAINING
Pitch training involves a mix of vocal exercises and techniques to improve your ability to accurately sing in tune. It's crucial for singers and enables better harmony and melody execution, group performances and vocal control.
PERFORMANCE SKILLS
You'll develop various performance skills including posture training, stage presence, expression, interpretation, microphone technique, audience engagement, and confidence to enhance your performance when performing to an audience or for an audition.

Our lessons are facilitated by Loren on a 1-1 basis (although you are welcome to share your lesson with a +1 your side of the call at no additional fee!). With 10+ years of extensive experience teaching vocal lessons at various music schools as well as being a performer within the industry herself, Loren is an inspiring coach.

Should I take a 30 minute lesson or a 1 hour lesson?

For children age 6 - 11, Loren recommends a 30 minute lesson to ensure engagement and enjoyment for younger children who tend to struggle with their attention span at this younger age. For older children & adults age 12 above, we recommend a 1 hour lesson to get the best out of your lesson & learning!

What is the youngest age you can begin online singing lessons?

The recommended age is no younger than 6 years old as children age 5 and under tend to struggle to engage with the elements of a 1-1 singing lesson. For example, keeping their concentration for the duration of the lesson and learning, remembering and reading lyrics.
