Description

Liz will wow you with the speed and passion she plays with. A fabulous show lively with great tunes like Madness, Jubel , Rock Anthems, Ibiza Party and lots more fun foot tapping music for all ages. Liz Monroe not only plays some mean sax but also sings with a huge range from Rock to Opera and also performs as a DJ with live Saxophone on the dance floor.

Biography

Liz Monroe started out singing with an accoustic trio 'The Semi Tones' and very soon moved onto the Tenor Saxophone. The trio quickly became one of Essex top professional wedding and function bands and so Liz moved onto the Alto Sax to expand their repertoire. She then became a band leader and front female personality for one of P&O Cruises most popular dance bands and the band enjoyed great success playing on the Oceana, Aurora and the Ventura. Also moving across to Indian Ocean Cruises and Fred Olsen covering the Balmoral, Braemar, Black Watch and Ocean Odyssey.
Liz Monroe has worked ... the Celebrity Party circuit and entertained superstars such as
Bill Wyman from the Rolling Stones, Simon Le Bon from Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet, Julian and Lady Fellowes, Katie Piper and Nicola Roberts
Liz has also recorded original songs for Konami in Japan where the album she was featured on enjoyed huge success.

Experience

Liz Monroe has vast experience in the performance industry. She has created show bands and fronted them for P&O Cruises, Fred Olsen Cruises, Budweiser Carnival and Butlins. From there she had designed her own theatre shows and toured the UK as well as performing with other theatre shows. For the last 2 years Liz has been part of the HQ Nights Christmas Shows performing to over 800 people a night. Liz Monroe is not just a saxophone player she is a true performer and brings the magic of Saxophone and movement to her unique show.
