We have the pleasure of having The Glam Ham as the entertainment for a recent event. She was hilarious! The crowd was roaring the entire time and my cheeks hurt by the end of her set! We hired Lisa for a leadership development event and she did not disappoint! I had the pleasure of setting up the event and working with Lisa through that process. She was friendly to work with, maintained great communication, and was very professional throughout our interactions. The night of the event she had us rolling with laughter during her performance! We couldn’t have asked for a better way to Kick-Off our 2022-2023 “Heads will Roll Tour” than to have the one and only “Glam Ham” open for us! She was able to put together a hilarious routine that fit our hair stylist crowd! Her seamless way of talking about herself And her past and present adventures truly hit home with our guests! We wouldn’t hesitate to have her perform again!

Meet the Act

I was a high school English teacher for the past 20 years, and I gave it all up to pursue comedy full-time. I have been doing standup for the past 13 years, but I've been funny my whole life. I describe myself as the fat kid from middle school who survived, so I deserve a microphone, a stage, and a spotlight. I come from a large, hairy, Italian family, and it's one of my favorite things to talk about.
I started doing comedy by emceeing at the local club, when it was called Jr.'s Last Laugh. And the first night I went on, in front of a sold-out crowd, I was incredible. So good that the owners ... said, "We had no idea you would be this funny!" And the rest is history. It was a great start.
I am confident in my own skin, and for 20 years, I taught high schoolers, so there is very little I am afraid of.

Creative Writing Lessons

For over twenty years, I was a high school teacher, and for part of that time, I also taught college composition at a local university. My passion in education is teaching writing; it's the thing I'm best at, working on helping writers to develop their own voice an style, in the genre they feel most called to. I have worked online as an editor, as a teacher, and I have taught virtual classes. I am a writer who specializes in creative nonfiction, but I am happy to teach writers how to develop themselves as better writers in fiction, poetry, nonfiction, etc...
