Biography

Lester Crabtree is an outstanding comedian from the North West with his own unique, cheeky yet attacking style. Lester is currently one of the most sought after comedians on the UK comedy & after dinner circuit.
Lester has had numerous TV and radio appearances including Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, ITV's Out From The Crowd and Sky TV’s ‘Just for Laughs’.
Lester Crabtree has fast emerged as a firm favourite in the UK and abroad and his versatility to perform to numerous audience types enables him to perform at a vast array of various events including corporate events, cab ... aret, cruise ships, sporting dinners, golf days, military functions, comedy clubs, theatre, television and radio where he adapts his material with ease.
Lester has worked in some fantastic venues all over the world including The Durban
Exhibition Centre in South Africa, Comedy Club Las Vegas, Manchester United FC, and was chosen as the main Guest Comedy Speaker for the Abu Dhabi Oilman’s Annual Golf tournament, The Mike Tyson Tour and the FIFA World Cup Dinner at Leicester City FC. Lester Also appeared recently on The Largest Cruise Ship In The World – Oasis of The Seas – Performing a staggering 12 shows in 5 nights for Royal Caribbean
Recently, Lester achieved one of his lifelong ambitions. Not only did he achieve this by meeting one of the greatest boxers of all time, “Sugar Ray Leonard” but he performed alongside him and interviewed the legend about his career.
Lester Crabtree is an outstanding unique comedian with the ability to perform at any type of function and this is what enables Lester to be selected time after time..............Lester is also available for hosting events which he adds light hearted humour to give the function a bit more of an edge. He is also a dab hand at auctioneering and has raised thousands of pounds for some great causes

I was slightly concerned to book someone that I knew nothing about but I needn’t have been. You had the whole audience in the palm of your hands – we laughed from the minute you came on and it was hysterical when you picked on the people I asked you to beforehand. Lester was here in May, back by public demand and what a performance he gave, all the jokes new and not repeated from last times show, a real gent, couldn't get him off stage he would have stayed all night if we had let him. Took time again after his spot to mingle with the audience, its no wonder he gets such rave reviews, an honest and true professional performer. If,as a man, I could pick a friend, Lester would be it, a lovely thoughtful man. I can't record enough plaudits for the show, marvellous, superb, breath-taking and lots more besides Ken Wilshaw Stoke on Trent

Lester Crabtree has a wealth of experience from over 30 years starting out in the Working men's clubs to climbing up the ladder headlining in the Durban Exhibition centre South Africa, Corporate gigs in Abu Dhabi and Dubai with UB40. Lester has also appeared with many sports stars as a comedian and or host including Mike Tyson, Tyson Fury, Sugar Ray Leonard, Paul Gascoigne, Robbie Fowler, Teddy Sheringham, AP McCoy etc....Lester's versatility has also seen him perform on Cruise ships including 12 shows on The Oasis of The seas - Comedy Live lounge for Royal Caribbean
