Lady Friend is a USVI-based band (Jerrad Kozloff and Heather Maynard) performing a blend of folk, blues, country & originals. They perform in the USVI, Puerto Rico, throughout the Caribbean, and just returned from a tour in California.
Description
Lady Friend is a St. Croix, USVI-based band (Jerrad Kozloff and Heather Maynard) performing a blend of folk, blues, and country, including original songs they've written. Living and traveling on sailboats, their love of the ocean is strongly woven into their music. On the decks of those sailboats is where they began playing together four years ago, never intending to perform in front of an audience. But after a friend saw a video of them playing “Freight Train,” she invited the duo to perform at her bar, and Lady Friend was officially formed (just as Covid restrictions were beginning to be ... put in place). Now music is their full-time gig, performing in the USVI, Puerto Rico, throughout the Caribbean, and just returning from a tour in California. They released a live album in November 2021 and are currently working on a studio album.
Experience
Lady Friend has been performing live since 2020 at hotels, restaurants, bars, breweries and events throughout the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the US. Their sets includes both acoustic and electric guitar and songs from a wide variety of genres, with over 100 songs in their repertoire, including country, folk, blues and originals. Both Jerrad and Heather lend their vocals to the act.
