I am a solo vocalist that performs tribute acts of Tina Turner and Amy Winehouse. I am an expressive, energetic dancing machine that recreates that moment of these artists for you. I have a a crazy sense of style and expression and a mean impression of artists, especially dating back to the 60s,70s and so on. I can also perform different style of music for different audiences and events from Reggae, RnB, Neo Soul, Pop, Funk, Garage and Soul. I can write and perform my own music as part of my act as an option. I take pride in making sure my performance is eccentric, dynamic and visual creative ... for the audience.

Biography

Keyilah is a 28 year old singer/songwriter from London/Essex. Expressive and confident she began her journey entertaining her family and friends at regular festive holidays and events. Going through a difficult period both at home and school, Keyilah discovered her devoted love and attention was held on by music and performing. Young Keyilah turned to music and performance to express and relieve herself from stress and the outside worries. She began to come to terms of what she liked to call “A confidence boost”, the love and drive she enforced in her early years began to grow and bloom, s ... he believed to never give 50% but the whole 100.
She began developing her profound talent when she moved to London, which gave her numerous opportunities including performances,(Jazz Cafe, Barfly, Stratford Circus)college offers and partaking in masterclasses. Animated and vibrant, she began to offer her services to develop her talent and gain experience, performing as a backing vocalist, featured on student E.P Projects and music video projects. Over the years Keyilah developed a sense of taste and a preferred music genre, she started seeking out artists, style and the context of funk.Optimistic and brave, she performed at several venues such as: Jazz Cafe, Stratford Circus, Barfly,Raw Talent show as a nominee for an Arts Award and others. She recently was on the TV Show, The Voice and got through to the Blind Auditions and live TV.
Her powerful, soulful and rhythmic sound is heavily influenced by the 60s, 70s and 80’s era. She religiously listened to legendary artists: Tina Turner, Michael Jackson,Chaka Khan, James Brown and many more. Feisty and fierce, Keyilah’s animated persona is supported with narrative storylines and expressive movement, soaked in heavy soulful tones.

We had Keyilah as a surprise at my mums 80th birthday surprise party! Mum is a huge Tina fan and Keyilah did not disappoint! She was professional, discreet when arriving and belted out the Tina classics just as Tina would, complete with costume and fabulous dance moves! Everyone commented how great she was and really got the party going! Mums favourite song is simply the best, Keyilah performed this as her last song and every one of the 110 people there were up on the dancefloor surrounding my mum and all joining in - it was quite a moment! We would book Keyilah again in a heartbeat and lots of others wanted her details - highly recommend, thank you Keyilah for a night she will never forget x

Kayleigh came to sing at my mums 70th Birthday Meal / Party. Communication from start to finish was brilliant, she is such a lovely girl and the Singing was absolutely amazing, every single person was up dancing and Kayleigh was interacting and dancing with everyone. Would highly recommend her, she is amazing !! Will definitely use her again and again. Thank you for making my mums birthday so extra special x

We hired Keyilah as a Tina Turner tribute act for my mums birthday. I have to say she was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. First of all, what a lovely person to deal with, so friendly and approachable. She was happy to help out n anyway she could including mixing it up and doing some Motown for us aswell. Absolutely brilliant voice and everyone was so impressed. We would not hesitate to use her again and we certainly will.
