Hi! I’m Kathy Buskett, and I’ve been a professional caricaturist for the past 25 years.
I travel to you to draw fun caricatures as entertainment at kids parties, weddings, bbqs, business events, festivals and any other event you want to make more memorable.
Before I moved here I lived and drew caricatures in Vegas at all the big casinos and convention centers.
I’ve won awards for my speed - I can draw ... one black and white drawing in under a minute - which keeps lines down and guests happy.
My style is fun and cute and my drawings actually look like the people I draw. I’m easy to get along with and will be happy to take any special requests.
Customer service is my top priority.

Biography

Kathy Buskett has been drawing since she was a small child. She grew up in beautiful Bucks County Pennsylvania which is known for producing artists writers and actors, and she majored In Art in high school and Fine Art in college.
Kathy did a lot of doodling and sketching on her own and earned a degree in Fine Art from Bucks County Comminity College in 1993. She began drawing caricatures professionally in 1999 when she worked as a caricaturist at Sesame Place, a Sesame Street theme park in Langhorne, PA.
Shortly after that Kathy got her first agent, and then she got a permanent weekend ... caricature gig working at Peddlers’ village in Lahaska, PA, in 2000, drawing caricatures live for families, couples and tourists. As the only artist there, she learned how to be very fast in order to keep lines down and the kiddies happy. That’s where she developed her brand and learned much of her customer service skills.
In 2007 Kathy moved to Las Vegas where she began drawing at Fremont Street Experience and soon became the top producer there due to her speed and customer service skills. Over time she worked her way up in the company until she became owner. During her stint in Vegas, Kathy drew at every major casino multiple times, at many corporate events and parties for the rich and famous as well as for regular tourists who just wanted to have a good time. She prides herself on treating everyone the same.
Some of the casinos she worked at include The Paris, The Venetian, Hard Rock, Flamingo, MGM Grand, Bellagio, Treasure Island, New York New York, Vedara, Planet Hollywood, The Mirage, Harrah’s, Mandalay Bay, Tropicana, Caesar’s Palace, The Wynn, The Encore. Aria, Westin, Hilton Grand, and much much more. She also worked at many smaller private events.
Kathy married Buddy Rose, “the Godfather of Caricature”, stayed in Vegas for ten years and then sold her caricature concession when he passed away, and moved to the gulf coast to be closer to family.
Kathy currently works as a freelance caricaturist snd cartoonist. She is also homeschooling her three kids, all three of whom show a penchant for art. Kathy couldn’t be more proud! Two of her kids have special needs, and kids with special needs are close to her heart. She works especially well with people with all kinds of special needs. She is patient and understanding.

Experience

I drew caricatures in Las Vegas for many years and came to the gulf coast in 2016 to raise my family and began drawing caricatures here.
Currently I work at private events and am the Beach Club Resort’s caricaturist (Fort Morgan)
