I am a professional female vocalist from Leicester. I cover a wide range of Soul, Motown and popular hits from the 60's to today's chart hits. My act is ideal for a mixed audience and families as there is a little something for everyone to enjoy. I have been singing professionally for many years at weddings, private functions, pubs and clubs. I have performed in many duo's, tribute acts and function bands across the UK as well as my solo act. I have a lot of experience and versatility and I am always looking for new opportunities.

Biography

I am currently a full time professional singer specialising in weddings, corporate events and private functions. My love of music started at an early age when I joined a local dance school at the age of two. In my early teens I began to write original material. I completed a BTEC National Diploma in performing arts and went on to study Musical Theatre and Drama at The University of Cumbria where I received a BA joint honours degree. During my training I performed in various tributes and function bands across the UK.
Another passion of mine has always been working with children. I enjoyed wo ... rking as a Judo instructor for many years which encouraged me to become a primary school teacher. I spent a few years working hard as a school teacher whilst singing semi professional. However after careful consideration I decided to take a break from teaching to pursue a full time career as a singer.
I am currently focusing mainly on my solo act looking for new challenges and exciting opportunities. However I do still enjoy performing with my current function band 'The Katch' and regularly work alongside my husband DJ Russ Hirons.

Previous Clients

I cannot thank Kathryn and her husband Russ enough for their contribution in making my 60th party such a fantastic day. I had opted for a joint booking alternating Kat as a solo singer and Russ for the Disco. The music selection, the quality of Kathryn's vocals and Russ's sound system together with their warm personalities, all helped ensure that the birthday went perfectly and that was with having an early 5pm start through to late. The venue was at our local Social Club and I really do hope they come back to you with future bookings and judging by the feedback I received, I am confident that ... will happen sooner rather than later. Oh my goodness. I was only popping into our local for a quick drink. This fantastic young lady was singing and ended up up staying all night!
