Dear Bookers,
I am from New Zealand and am currently living in Queenstown working as a singer, musician and host on a beautiful ship on Lake Wakatipu and during the high season also as a private host for the premium market through my own business Tantra Art https://www.tantra-art.com/. With a passion for meeting and connecting with people from all over the world, both serve me well and allow me to introduce people to another side of life here in Queenstown through my love of music, art and photography.
Working on the ship also gives me the opportunity to connect, using music, lyrics, ... the history of the artist and band along with my piano and harmonicas. Music can be incredibly therapeutic and powerful and I love how it has the ability to bring people together no matter where they are from in the world and provide a moment to escape their everyday reality and experience its magic. My music genre is a full and extensive range of covers, many with a delightful twist and re-composition. From Chrissy Heinz, Sting, Carole King, Rolling Stones to Fleetwood Mac, Roberta Flack, Neil Young to Coldplay.
Over the past few weeks I have had several American guests ask if I have ever worked on Cruise Ships which I have responded, "never but would love to"! They have all been so enthusiastic and encouraging and said I would fit into one of the smaller intimate bars perfectly, hence my desire to investigate this further. I would be very interested in working on a ship in the Mediterranean and am willing to relocate to that part of the world while working in that area. I see the busy months are typically May to September which is the quiet time for my business and an easier time to take leave from my role on the ship I currently work for.

Meet the Act

Learning the piano at a young age and with a love of music, I started singing years ago as a duo with a local music teacher and after moving town as a duo and part of different gigs throughout the years. I have a very relaxed approachable personality and connect with people very easily.
In my current role working on a ship, I have a genuine desire to draw people into my music no matter where they are from in the world and the language they speak which gives me so much joy. This often starts with asking for requests, talking about the artist, rock history involved with the song and any p ... ersonal connections that song may have with my guest.
