Biography

Jon Christos is a highly acclaimed operatic tenor, recording artist and radio personality who has performed at prestigious major events across the globe. He began his training at the renowned Chetham's School of Music and graduated to The Royal Northern College of Music where he gained acclaim for his incredible range and vocal versatility.
Celebrated conductor and composer Carl Davis is quoted regarding Jon as ‘One of the finest and most versatile singers of his generation.’ The late legendary American conductor Erich Kunzel is quoted saying ‘he has the warmth, personality, charism ... a, stage presence and voice that can sing and adapt to anything and any style he wants to sing; he has it all.’ It is due to such high praise as well as the incredible reactions from audiences at home and abroad that he was soon signed by Sony Music to a lucrative 5 album deal and has since gone on to feature in no less than 7 albums achieving the status of becoming a platinum selling recording artist.
Jon is always in high demand all over the world in both the concert platform and corporate sectors alongside his work in TV and Radio here in the UK.
