What does Joel Cooper say? “I just like to perform my comedy and I hope that people can relate and/or enjoy it”!
Pretty humble for a guy that in his first year of comedy opened for Pablo Francisco, Margaret Cho and Honest John for a BET event.
Just this year (2015) he has opened for Joe Rogan, Thai Rivera, Mark Fry, The Greg Wilson, Last Comic Standing stars Jackie Fabulous, Jay London, and Lahna Turner!

... wn of Moore, Oklahoma to play professional baseball. Beginning his career
with the Oakland A's in 1990, he was traded to the Colorado Rockies in 1992 for the building of the new
MLB organization. Joel ended his career in 1994 due to injury and the baseball strike.
Joel found his comedy calling when he was at a Arizona bar with a friend. Joel was being Joel, sarcastic,
witty and funny. As a crowd began to grow around Joel to enjoy his comedic personality drawing more and
more attention to his entertainment ability, he was approached by comedian Pablo Francisco and asked to
open their comedy show that evening? Joel obviously was very stupid and said "Yes"! Lol He never looked
back!
Joel Coopers comedy is directly contributed to his own life of defeats, imperfections, sarcasm and his outlook on today’s world.
Joel Cooper is definitely rising fast in the comedy scene and is one that you should see!
Joel has performed at The Comedy Store, The Ice House, Improv, and Chicago’s Second City, to name a few.
Recently Joel added his first trip to New York where he headlined The Broadway Comedy Club and performed with veteran comedian Bob Nelson for Rodney Dangerfield's Birthday Celebration at the famous Dangerfield's Comedy Club.
His other credits include acting in motion pictures with George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg, Ice Cube, Linda
Hamilton, Bill Paxton and Jamie Kennedy.
