I am Joe De Gregorio,
Italian versatile Jazz pianist, composer and vocalist born in Rome-Italy.
Throughout over fifteen years of professional worldwide career, I have developed my own unique style embracing Jazz, Gospel, Neo Soul, Funk, R&B, Bossa Nova, Hip Hop and more, singing in Italian, French, English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Active as a performing artist on the International scene for fifteen years, during my career I have consistently performed in Europe, Northern Africa and the US (NY), setting my personal journey on the pathways interconnecting these three continents so key to Jazz history.

What makes me unique
As a worldwide performing pianist, composer, vocalist and band leader, I have developed my own unique style embracing Jazz, Gospel, Neo Soul, Funk, R&B, Bossa Nova, Hip Hop and more, singing in Italian, French, English and Spanish.
More than that, I consider myself a true bridge between cultures.
Most of my musical training and artistic experiences took place within a foreign context, through close contact with other cultures.
During the last fifteen years of my life,I settled in six different countries: Holland, Spain, France, Sweden, Morocco, USA and Mexico.
Born in Rome,I lived in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Gothenburg, Rabat, Casablanca, Paris, New York, Boston and Monterrey (Mexico).
My music is impregnated with a unique multicultural background and interpersonal skills, expressed also in academic and artistic research.
The music I perform, compose and teach, for more than a decade now, is permeated by such multicultural heritage in my personal journey.

Joe has operated professionally in the best five star hotels all over Morocco including:
Hyatt (Casablanca), Kenzi Tower (Casablanca), Golf Palmeraie (Bouskoura), Sofitel Marrakech and Sofitel Casablanca (Tour Blanche).

Welcome to my method and online course, "Developing Jazz Variations".
My course is a mentoring program, designed to be a gym that builds or strengthens specific muscles that are essential to the practice of the jazz improvisational language; through the application of 3 pillars, core to my unique teaching method:
the analysis, practice and reinvention of my original musical material.
My goal is sharpening the student's musical personality, sensitivity and intelligence,
stretching the notion of how, rhythm, melody and harmony can be manipulated, to shape someone's individual musical expression to the best of its potential.
