Can perform over 500 and growing songs, as well as be able to perform a requested set list of songs with proper notice.

Biography

James Haynes attended DePaul University and Columbia College in Chicago, IL, where he studied Music Business. Haynes was a band leader in New York, Chicago, and Albuquerque. James began his music education playing trumpet at age 11 and completed three years of symphonic band. Haynes then, at age 12, was inspired to learn guitar. He took four years of private guitar lessons with Gordon Moore in Syracuse, NY. James started his first band at age 14 and has since performed at venues all over the country including Syracuse, Chicago, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, Colorado and Texas. Hay ... nes also spends some of his free time teaching guitar in local Albuquerque Elementary Schools.

Shared the stage with international acts ranging from Cody ChesnuTT (Roots, "Seed 2.0, featuring Cody ChesnuTT"), Thompson Square, Frank Hannon (Tesla), Morris Day and the Time, and One Be Lo, Future man and Bela Fleck.
Opened for touring acts such as Bob Dylan, Kid Rock, and many others at the VIP Stage at Journal Pavilion in Albuquerque.

Merican Slang, his original and cover band filmed, was chosen to be in the music video for “Meant to Be” by BeBe Rexa and Georgia Florida Line (over 300 million views and counting).
James' original songs and recordings have been used every year since 2015 for the Albuquerque International Balloon Festival promotional advertising for Kasa Fox 2, and Q13. Many of the appearances on these news and their morning shows where aired live and are available on YouTube.
Co-wrote the “alt rock” volumes for Allen Ett Music group which can be heard on all the Cable Network channels and have also been used globally for many purposes.
