Description

1940s Wartime tribute show: Featuring songs from Vera Lynn, Gracie Fields, The Andrews Sisters and your favourite sing-alongs, it is a show for the whole family and a celebration of the music that came from the War years. Jessica can also include Hymns and Classic pieces for events such as Remembrance Day and Anniversary celebrations.
Songs from the Stage & Screen: Featuring favourites from the West End, Broadway and Hollywood. There really is a song for everyone and special requests can be made to ensure your favourite song is featured. Musicals and Movies include Les Miserables, Waitress ... , Sunset Boulevard, The Greatest Showman, Grease and much, much more...
Disco/Party Show: This show features music from the 50s to present day, it can be created especially for your event. Including Motown hits, dance-floor classics and your favourite pop/rock anthems. Guaranteed to get people on their feet, this is the ideal show for your next Party night!
I am also available for Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions, please get in touch to discuss for your requirements.
All my shows can be adapted to suit your event, with it's own personal touch.

Biography

Growing up in a musical family, singing & performing was always part of Jessica’s life. As a child she attended local Stage Schools and was part of the ‘Children’s Choir’ in the musical “Joseph & His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat” for a number of years. Jessica went on to study Musical Theatre at the prestigious Leeds College of Music (now Leeds Conservatoire) followed by Manchester’s Arden School of Theatre.
Jessica has spent over a decade working in the Entertainment industry, from UK Theatre tours to Disneyland Paris, Luxury Hotels to 6* Cruise Liners, performing a variety ... of styles in venues both on land and sea.
In recent years Jessica has performed at Corporate Events, Charity Functions & Private Parties throughout the UK, including Armed Forces Day & ‘Ladies Night’ in aid of Breast Cancer Care and Foundation 4 Peace. She was also one of the Female Vocalists with "Made In Motown" - a tribute to the sounds of the Motor City and Agnetha in the Number 1 ABBA tribute group - Abba Forever.
Jessica has spent the last year creating and performing her ‘40s Tribute show as well as performing her Variety show across venues in Yorkshire.

Jessica was the star of Mansfield District Council’s Virtual VE Day singalong event on MyMansfieldUK in May 2020 after Covid put a halt to plans. She sang a wartime set and led the national singalong of Dame Vera Lynn’s “We’ll meet again”. She was professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She helped promote the event to ensure it would reach as many followers as possible and her beautiful singing voice went down really well with followers. I can’t thank her enough for working with the council on this event and even allowing us to donate her fee to support the Covid response fund for local charities and voluntary groups. Thank you Jessica! A true professional.

Jessica's set list showcased almost the entire range of her skillset, was well presented and, unlike many others, didn't include the same old 50s & 60s chestnuts. Result one happy audience! If there was a Champions League for female vocalists, she would be up there mixing it with the best of them. Well done!

Jess is a true talent and professional. On the night she sang two sets and at the end of the night she was what everyone was talking about. The charity who i did the event in aid of even took her details to use at their events. Jess did a set list tailored to the needs of the event and even learnt some new songs as I requested them.
