Biography

Originally from the Brighton area, Jenny gigged for many years with her function bands along the south coast. She performed regularly in the many hotels, bars and clubs including The Hove Town hall, The Grand and Metropole Hotels.
Since moving to Surrey she has been working regularly on the London jazz circuit including The Ronnie Scott’s Club and more recently performed new arrangements from The British Song Book at Pizza Express Dean Street.

Jenny’s debut album “Caught A Touch Of Your Love” received rave reviews since its launch last year at The Pizza Express Pheasantry ... The album was also featured on Jazz FM with James Torme featuring her as one of his hidden treasures
Sean Hargreaves wrote the arrangements and played piano on the album tells us not to be misled by the title: “Jenny's album goes much deeper than just love songs, and reflects her versatility as a performer”.
From Jenny's early love of pop music, to big band, jazz and acapella, she has a wealth of knowledge, expertise, skill and experience and with her ever expanding repertoire, covering songs from the world of Jazz, swing, to soul Latin and popular standards. Jenny is in great demand as a function singer with her bands and is ideal for weddings & corporate events.
Jenny’s love of the Great American songbook has led her to work regularly in the Jazz clubs across the London area appearing with well know jazz musicians. These include Pizza Express Pheasantry, Pizza Express Soho, The Hideaway Streatham, the Spice of life jazz club in London, The Bulls Head Barnes, Vortex London, Ronnie Scott’s, Jazz after dark Soho the Lancaster Club Mayfair and more recently the Rivoli Ballroom.

Jenny’s charity work Included performances with the Hand in Hand team.She supports Able-Unique plus raising awarness for mental health whilst helping to raise money for five charities in the Epsom Surrey area.
Never stopping for one minute, Jenny is a broadcaster for 107 Meridian FM and Broadcasts a Jazz programme Sundays 8 till 11 pm. On the show Jenny often features tracks from up and coming jazz artists and gives out a gig guide and interviews guests live on the show.

Jenny often gets asked to host and MC events she has recently helped organize the Jazz stage for East Court Live with East Grinstead Town Council and Yulefest for Coulsdon Town Centre and Belmont Summer festival. Next summer she is delighted to be asked to host the Jazz stage for the East Grinstead Motering Show in July.

In her earlier years she fulfilled her love of harmony singing and achieved National and International success representing the UK in the Acappella world, with her quartet Sounds familiar, gaining two coveted championship medals.
With her quartet she travelled America and Europe appearing on major venues these have included; The Palace theatre Columbus Ohio, The Hall of Music Kansas City, The Killarney Park Hotel Killarney Ireland, The Eriksdalshalle Concert Hall Stockholm, The Opera House Blackpool, & The Fairfield Halls Croydon.
They went on to record a successful CD produced by Derek Nash & Tony Philpot at the Clown Pocket Studios.
