Biography

I started singing at the age of 11 and went on to study a double A level music at South Downs College and graduated from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2001.
Having studied with Buddug Verona James and fringe festival Diva Carol Bishop, I now work as a freelance Opera singer and peripatetic singing teacher.

I love to inject fun and good-humour into the nation's favourite Opera songs and show tunes.
​
In my spare time you'll find me either dancing, baking up a storm in the kitchen, or spending time with my wonderful family.

I have 10 years experience as a free lance opera singer. I have worked for various agents such as Montserrat Events and Daze entertainment. I am a recommended speaker on Opera for the WI. I have my own Bose PA and full prepared with orchestral backing tracks. I also work as a soloist with orchestras and Choral societies aswell. Acting Experience

I have been booked twice in the last 2 years to work on an immersive dining experience. This required costume changes, and the ability to work as a team and play different characters working to a script but also ad libbing when needed

Meet the Act

My favourite comment from my audiences is “I didn’t think I liked Opera but I love what you do”. I am not a conventional classical/opera singer. I like to push the boundaries and work both as a classical singer with full orchestra and choir to dressing up a goddess and singing Kate Bush. In my spare time I like to bake and I am a huge fan of Kristin Chenoweth and Victoria Wood.
