Jemima are a young professional and unique performing duo with individually versatile and developed talents which join together to create an engaging performance with a refined sound delivered with exuberant energy and charm. Meeting in Bristol whilst studying for their degree in professional musicianship, Jemma and Jordan are both passionate and highly- experienced multi-instrumentalists. The connection between them creates an honest embrace in any environment; from delicate, soulful vocals paired with ambient acoustic guitar for a chilled atmosphere, to upbeat and electric party vibes guaren ... teed to get the whole room on their feet. This duo's stand out-feature is their expert ability to organically craft all their music live on stage using a host of instruments and a loop pedal, with Jordan creating and looping bass lines, riffs and chords on the guitar, crafting funky interludes on the saxophone, finishing with husky but powerful rock vocals. Whilst Jemma creates dynamic drum beats on an electronic drum pad finished with skilful percussion and unique, controlled vocals. This individual crafting of live music enables the duo to amplify their sound threefold, giving them the energy of a full-band show. They are comfortable over a range of genres including pop, rock, soul, funk, reggae and blues, but their preferred style is to add their own individual spin on your most-loved classics which feature ska and reggae elements.
