Biography

Jan is a professional saxophone, clarinet and piano player based in the Ribble Valley, originally from the Czech Republic. Having arrived in the UK in the summer of 2019, he has built a very good reputation in the area and played at events of all types, ranging from small weddings to big jazz festivals.
Even though he studied classical clarinet, Jan's musical journey has always been very exciting and led him through a variety of music genres, bands and countries. One of the most memorable experiences was playing a sax solo with members of Thin Lizzy when touring Germany in 2016.
His mus ... ical versatility has no limits and he enjoys playing any music that can be considered good. Jan's solo act combines the sound of tenor saxophone and clarinet with quality backing tracks and can provide background piano music as well if requested.
