ABOUT JAMES
The Story so far
James started performing at a very young age of eight, his father came home one day with a karaoke machine and he was hooked. He learnt what songs suited him and soon fell in love with the likes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. After a few months singing at home James had learnt many songs and after updating his equipment he and his father ventured out into local holiday parks and pubs. They quickly established a reputation in the local area and received regular bookings most weekends.

His interest in music then took him to Ipswich where he worked for Vibe ... FM (which is now Kiss FM) and he began promoting the radio in clubs and bars. He met a lot of famous people along the way and some leading names in the industry who helped him develop his skills. After leaving Vibe Fm James moved to Tenerife where he was lucky enough to perform in some of the islands top venues and hotels, two years later and with bags of new experience he moved back to the UK.

He then auditioned for Haven Holidays and was offered a contract as a lead male vocalist in the production shows at one of Haven’s flagship parks in Great Yarmouth, after his first season James then became an Assistant Entertainments Manager at the same park. After his second season James then went on to become an Entertainments Manager for Haven, and spent the next five years performing on different holiday parks around the UK.

As well as this in 2011 James performed over one hundred gigs in eight months travelling over twenty eight thousand miles up and down the country for some of the industries biggest players. Since then he has constantly been performing both vocally and as a DJ/Compère becoming a very well know name in the business here in the UK abroad and locally.

James will tell you “It’s in his blood”, and when you see him perform you can really see he loves what he does. Over the years he has developed a very unique skill of reading a room and an audience, catering his show to suit. Most people can sing but very few can actually entertain and keep an entire room engaged in the way James does. He has performed to a handful of people and over two thousand at one gig, but he always delivers the same level of professionalism and attention to detail every time.
