Experience

Solo Cabaret Artist 1998 - Present
I’ve been performing my solo cabaret 2/5 nights a week at pubs, clubs and restaurants around the UK. This has meant catering for works parties, weddings and birthdays. Also I held a residency in 2006 for the 12 days of Christmas celebration. I have performed at many charity shows and events. I work in care homes providing entertainment for the residents.
Marella Cruises - Entertainment Host March ’19 - October '19
I rejoined the Marella cruise fleet onboard the Marella Explorer 2. As the ship was new to the fleet, we setup the entertainment ... product from scratch and made the ship ready for entertaining our clientele. As part of the Entertainments team I provided daytime & evening activities ranging from quizzes, bingo, sporting, poolside, cabarets, radio DJ & tour escorting during the day. Gameshows, cabarets, compere, DJ and Silent Discos on the evening. Also performing with the resident bands throughout the cruise.
Warner Leisure Hotels - Resident Singer September ’18 - March ‘19
I am currently working at Warner Leisure Hotels in Cricket St Thomas as a resident singer. Here I am part of the production shows, including pants & christmas shows. Aswell as this I also host ballroom dancing, main showtime cabaret and disco. Also, on numerous occasions during the week I perform a lounge cabaret spot in our secondary venue.
Marella Cruises - Entertainment Host July ’18 - September ’18
For just over two months I worked onboard Marella Cruise Lines newest ship the Marella Explorer. On here I worked as part of the Entertainments team providing daytime & evening activities ranging from quizzes, bingo, sporting, poolside activities during the day and gameshows, cabarets, Dj and Silent Discos on the evening.
Dubai - Resident Singer & Quiz Host August ’17 - October’17
For two months I plied my trade writing and hosting quizzes aswell as being weekly resident vocalist. I have a large repertoire which allowed me to do 3*45minutes per evening without the need to repeat a song during the month. I also enjoy performing client song requests.

Employed as part of the entertainment department to host gameshows, quizzes and shows. Also singing with the orchestra when required on special events.

Given my experience as Cruise Director, during my time as a host with Fred Olsen I was given the task to introduce new and exciting aspects to the entertainments product. I introduced one or two things during the day but my main focus was the evening and I wanted to modernise the product by introducing gameshows and also evening themed cabarets. As with all hosting roles, my duties included many things ranging from daily sport activities, socialising, bingo, quizzes to evening DJ aswell as many other things.
CMV Cruise Director December 2010 - December 2011
In charge of the entire entertainments programme. My 1st cruise was a 35 night transatlantic Christmas & New Year Caribbean cruise. So I had to create a programme that would keep the passengers entertained for 35nights. Also creating a Christmas & New Years atmosphere with very little resources. I enhanced the product from previous years by introducing a few new and modern elements aswell as making sure the guests got what they required.
CMV Performance Host January 2010 - November 2010
Working on both the Marco Polo & Ocean Countess I assisted the Cruise Director with the every aspect of the entertainments programme. Duties included to embark and disembark passengers, to organise daily activities such as sports activities, demonstrations, Nintendo Wii competitions, dance classes, quizzes and social gatherings. I also created a programme to cater to the needs of up to 60 children from 7-19yrs old.
On the evenings I would be creating & hosting game shows, performing nightly cabarets (group & solo), assisting the light technician on the spot lights, DJ, joining the showteam for a couple of shows per week and general socialising. As one of my solo cabarets I also developed a Michael Buble tribute cabaret which I performed on every cruise for the entire season.
Zodiac Karaoke Bar Host and Compere May 2009 - September 2009
Compere and host a 5 hour karaoke show 6 nights per week. I needed to make sure that the customers are entertained by keeping a high energy performance and if the bar is quiet I would be required to sing in order to bring new customers in. 3 months summer period in Protaras, Cyprus. Host the daily karaoke from 7pm until 2am. I would have to keep the energy in the room by doing party games and songs. Also to keep a steady flow of karaoke singers and maintain a queuing system.

I also was on hand to assist with escorting tours.
Transocean Cruises Social/Entertainment Host Marco Polo (Apr 2008 - Aug 2008)
My responsibilities were to assist the cruise director daily to create a fun and entertaining environment for the guests as well as help the cruise director in every aspect of the entertainment department
Duties included to embark and disembark passengers, to organise daily activities such as sports activities, demonstrations, dance classes, quizzes and social gatherings.
On the evenings I would host game shows, perform cabarets (group & solo), assist the light technician on the spot lights, DJ and general socialising. Also I joined the showteam for a couple of shows per week.
Every week I also would take charge of an extra safety meeting for those passengers who failed to attend the SOLAS drill.

On top of my required duties I volunteered to DJ and along with one other person, I created a programme to cater to the needs of up to 120 teenagers per week from 13-19yrs old.
Classic International Cruises Production Vocalist Arion (May 2004 - Oct 2004)
Male Production Vocalist for Classic International Cruises on board M/V Arion. As well as performing in the shows I also helped on tours and occasionally with daytime duties.
Main Feature Productions Production & Solo Artist April 2003 - November 2003
I spent this summer in Ibiza performing a Las Vegas themed production show as well as my solo cabaret. I performed in hotels, bars, nightclubs and also on a private island where I entertained the celebrity family while they dined. Having been the first to perform on the island I was invited back on three further occasions – firstly to officially open the island with there family and friends. Then for two family birthday parties.

I have performed for a professional charity group for four years. Performing songs from Broadway and West End musicals for audiences across the midlands
