Guilty Pleasures Cabaret provides fully customizable dance entertainment experiences! The group draws from a roster of trained and professional dancers, singers, and emcees to deliver acts that suit the needs of any event atmosphere including: choreographed routines, go-go dancing, flash mobs, or full-length shows. While we have the abilities to work with any theme, a few that we specialize include: Gatsby/prohibition, flapper, Mad Men/60's, black & white, patriotic, contemporary/pop, Fosse, Austin Powers, Beyonce, Moulin Rouge, and Saloon. Dance styles/acts include: jazz, hip-hop, tap, cont ... ortion, musical theater, live piano & singer, emcee/host, & poi spinning.
Overview
We can cater our dance acts according to each specific venue, but generally for most group routines (5-6 dancers) we require at least a 10' x 10' smooth and flat area for dancing on. We also require a sound system for playing the music and a bathroom or area for changing. If the event requires singing/piano we need microphones and access to a piano or keyboard. Certain acts require access to a power source. Certain acts require two chairs. While lighting isn't necessary, it does enhance the experience. We do own 3 plug-in flood lights that add ambiance. Hair flips and high kicks, lipstick and lace -- NYC's sexiest Dance Variety Show promises to entertain! Guilty Pleasures Cabaret's sultry charm and feminine energy brings refreshing talent and artistry to the cabaret theater experience. They were founded in 2014 by six friends in New York City who wanted to produce a show that highlighted both their performing and creative talents. Inspired by music, dance, and costumes that fulfilled their guilty performing pleasures, the show was born - thus earning their namesake “Guilty Pleasures Cabaret”. The ladies debuted their show in Manhattan on ... the Upper West Side at a neighborhood bar, and after nine months they moved downtown where they were selling out monthly shows at the renowned Duplex Cabaret Theater. The ladies have since made the Duplex their performing home. With a speak-easy feel, a hint of the roaring twenties, and a sprinkle of the swinging sixties - the show remains modern and sexy. Experience

We offer high energy, fun, and sexy song and dance routines. Our acts can interact with the audience as little or as much as needed. We can perform choreographed routines, flash mobs, crowd dancing, or go-go dancing. All of our performers are highly talented and know how to read a room and adapt any act to the situation. Also note, while our acts are on the sexy side they are all PG and PG-13, there is no nudity/pasties/thongs.
