Grant’s performances as a One Man Band have made him one of the most sought after event musicians in the Eastern United States, and a very popular choice for events nationwide. Hired as both a singing guitarist, and a “live looping” artist or "one man band," Grant brings a big sound to every event with his one-of-a-kind arrangements and characteristic playing and singing style. He uses no backing tracks.

Grant was amazing. Seriously he's a Musical Genius and a wonderful, amazing human being with an Angelic voice. We hired Grant for our wedding because we didn't want to go the usual route of hiring a DJ. Grant provided his repertoire list - over 400 songs. We selected a bunch of songs from jazz to indie genres that went with our theme. He also learned some new songs for our dances since they were not in his song list. Afraid that no one will get on the dance floor without a DJ? You're wrong. Both kids and adults were on the dance floor. Everyone had a great time and loved the music and his singing. My cousin who is a music teacher thought Grant was a recording at first - that is how great he sounded! I would recommend Grant for any event.

Grant did an incredible job of following our very specific direction for a corporate lunch event. We hosted the event in our downtown office during business hours and Grant was able to ensure his performance wasn't disruptive for the rest of our working staff, but had a really engaging performance for those that did. Everyone who attended had AMAZING feedback. It was something we had never tried before that, but will certainly do again. Grant was very professional, knowledgeable, and his set-up/breakdown a breeze. A+ performer for sure!!

From the moment he started playing, we were blown away by his incredible talent and musicality. Grant is incredibly skilled and clearly loves what he does. His passion for music shines through in every note he plays, and he has an amazing ability to connect with his audience and create a truly magical atmosphere. Not only is Grant an exceptional musician, but he is also a true professional. He was extremely easy to work with in the lead up and on the day of. He was friendly, approachable, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. We cannot recommend Grant Swift highly enough. He is truly one of the best in the business.

Experience

I've been playing music in some capacity since I was 6 years old, under the tutelage of renowned choral instructor and organist, Charles Dodsley Walker. When I was teenager, I started getting into Rock music and was mostly self-taught on guitar, playing with a dedicated group of local musicians, and practicing more of my "rock" singing. In college, I was the Music Director of Fordham University's original all-male acappella group, and studied Music Theory, Composition and History, in addition to a double major in Philosophy. In about 2015, I took the dive into playing music full-time. The rest ... , as they say, is history. :)
